Samples from our Designers

Check out what you can make with this kit:

**Non kit supplies used: stamp (SU), Ink (SU, Colorbox), die cut (Quickutz)

Note by designer Gloria Stengel: I changed the white greeting strip to blue by rubbing it with ink.

**Non kit supplies used: stamp (The Cottage Stamper), Ink (SU, Colorbox), embossing folder (Cuttlebug), scallop blade (Fiskars)

Note by Gloria: I toned down the blue cardstock with some ink, by rubbing the ink pad over the paper. I also changed the white greeting strip to blue by rubbing it with ink.

**Note from designer Kristie Larsen: Cutting a notch out of it to make it flag-like adds some interest to an otherwise regular strip of paper. The red is just the right tone to add a pop of color against all the blues.

**Non kit supplies used: Paper piercing tool, Nestabilities Scallop Circle and Classic Circle Die Cuts

Note from Kristie: I paper pierced around the squares to add some detail. Adding a pop of the right color adds some nice interest.

**Non Kit Item Used: White CS for matting center square.

Note from Kristie: This large scalloped notecard was a big canvas to fill! I wanted to add something, but not lose the scallops on the outer edge. I opted to let the paper do the work. This kit has fabulous paper for this. I fussy cut a circle from one of the patterned paper. This is a great way to get a focal point that works with your papers and designs without needing to buy ALL the products of a certain line. In the kit there were 5 pearl flowers. I cut one up to use as the dots in the corners and on the opposite sides of the sentiment. Don't be afraid to use your scissors! Just because it comes a certain way doesn't mean you can't change it to fit what you need. This is where the fun and creativity comes in!

**Non Kit Item used:Corner Rounder

Note from Kristie: These little notecards are so fun to play with. The small canvas really helps speed the design process. I again fussy cut the word Friends off of a strip of Scenic Route paper and used pop dots to add some depth and interest. Pop dots are GREAT when you don't want your card to look like a flat piece of paper. I also stamped on the glassine envelope to help with the presentation. Its such a fun little card to make and give and that extra time you put to decorate the envelop adds that much more!

**Non Kit Item used: SU! Scallop Line Punch. SU! Scallop circle punch
Note from Kristie: Using all Scenic Route papers, I fussy cut the leaves from one of the patterned paper. Again I cut a flower using Nestability Scallop Circle. You can also use a scallop punch for this. I cut a regular circle in a contrasting color and offset it right behind the flower. This helps bring out the flower and also coordinates beautifully with the button from the kit. It also gives you a more clever placement for the sentiment. again I used some scraps to decorate the glassine envelop. I also used my SU! Scallop Line punch for the edges of the glassine.

**Non Kit items used: nestabilities Scalloped Circle and Classic Circle die cuts. Hole Punch, Black marker.
Note from Kristie: I used Nestability Scallop Circle and Classic circle to make the top. I adhered them together and then scored it down the middle. I glue it to the flap of the envelope and hole punched through the top and tied with embroidery floss. I hand wrote the sentiment on the outside.

**Non kit supplies used: stamp (SU), Ink (Tim Holtz, Colorbox)

**Non kit supplies used: embossing folder (Cuttlebug)

Note by Gloria: I cut the brown tag in half and embossed it to make the front of the gift card.
